Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, established in 1984 as the University of Delhi's second commerce college, is a prestigious institution that offers courses in commerce, economics, business studies, and computer science. The college is well-known for its academic achievements. The emphasis is on providing a high-quality education that includes character development and cultural progress to produce socially responsible individuals.

Mentioned below are some of the campus highlights of SGGSCC Delhi:

  • Every year in December and January, the college hosts the Sahibzada Ajit Singh Cricket Tournament. This competition attracts about twenty clubs.
  • College Magazine- To encourage the creativity and self-expression of students, the college magazine 'Amrit' is published annually. It publishes articles, poems, and short stories written by students. The review of educational, cultural, social, and sports events is also reported in the magazine. It has three sections: English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Each section of the magazine is edited by a student editor under the supervision of a faculty member.
  • College Research Journal- The college publishes a research journal, "Journal of Business Thought", to promote research among the academic fraternity. The journal focuses on business, commerce, and economic areas.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce has all the basic facilities, some of which are mentioned below.

Library- The NETTLIB software system is used by the library to provide effective services. The library's collection currently includes over 50,000 books, 490 bound volumes (back volumes) of prominent periodicals, and around 850 CDs on a variety of topics. The library subscribes to around 27 newspapers, 35 journals, and magazines (both Indian and foreign) on a variety of topics on a regular basis.

Hostels- The hostel is situated on the college grounds. It has 42 rooms to house the college's 126 female undergraduate students. Apart from the various amenities provided by the hostel, every effort is made to ensure that the resident students have a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Sports Centre- In 2002, the college constructed a basketball court and a volleyball court that met national requirements. To encourage pupils to play tennis, two clay tennis courts have also been constructed. Volleyball, table tennis, and chess are among the other sports available to students.

Labs- For students to enjoy and gain broad experience, the laboratory infrastructure provides a genuinely heterogeneous spectrum of hardware and software platforms. The laboratories' furnishings have been thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming environment that is conducive to gaining technical knowledge.

Bank Facilities- A branch of the Punjab and Sind Bank, as well as an ATM, are located on campus. Banking services are very convenient for students and employees because they are straightforward to find and use.

Photocopying- A photocopying facility is available on the campus in the main building. It provides an invaluable service to the students at reasonable prices.

There are three hostels.

The university has a lush green sprawling campus spread over 25 acres of land within the vicinity of the twin city of Chas-Bokaro at Jharkhand. The institute is established to nurture young technocrats and budding managers to cater to the industry's needs. In persuasion of excellence and growth, the institute has constituted a Training & Placement Cell (T&P Cell) to improve the interface between the institute and industry representatives.

Being an off- campus college, the architecture of the building gives it a typical Delhi Campus feel. College spreads over 10.7 acres. Special care is taken to make the building accessible to physically disables. by NoMore Cricket field & grounds are well maintaned. There is a separate 3-storeyed air-conditioned library building. Classrooms are comfortable & well ventilated.Hostel facility is not provided by the college , but PGs are available nearby at nominal rates. Also the nearest metro station, NSP is just 5-7 minutes walking from the college.

  • Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce college has what we call nowadays an awesome infrastructure. Infact it is included in the top 3 colleges of Delhi University in respect of its infrastructure.Not only this, the college has a well-known playground.
  • It offers excellent quality of classroom and infrastructure, air-conditioned library,free Wi Fi facilities amd many more.In addition to this, the college also has adjoining metro and bus stop.

There are 2 hostels and they all are good and the fee is INR 3000 Pg and other options are like b com BBA is also good The food in the college is also very good the cost is INR 200 per plat The quality of classroom is very good lad and ect the wifi network is also good

There are 5 hostels. Their food quality and taste will be not nice. No free network in the campus.
