The School of Management, Manipal was formerly known as the Manipal Institute of Management. It was established in 1999 as a constituent school of Manipal University, which is now known as the Manipal Academy of Higher Education [MAHE]. It is one of the top management schools of the country that offers various Masters of Business Administration courses. 

 SOM Manipal produces industry-ready graduates that can easily adapt to the constantly changing management landscape. The curriculum is regularly revised to make sure it is updated to match the current industry trends. Students are taught by experienced faculty, through a variety of teaching methods, including case studies, group discussions, presentations, assignments, etc.

The School of Management Manipal Admissions is based on management exams and their performance in the qualifying exams.
