Social Atmosphere

Girl:Boy ratio is very low. In fact for some of the batches there was not even a single girl in class. Crowd here is kind of mixed - some good students coming from Delhi-NCR and some rowdy ones too making the college unsafe for girls. There are also a few students coming all the way from interiors of Bihar, Haryana and UP.

College Infrastructure

Well the campus of NPTI Badarpur is not very big and it doesn't have large and glamorous buildings but it does suffice the infrastructural needs of engineering students. Classroom in the two building are comfortable and well ventilated, computer lab and the well-stacked library are fully air-conditioned. Most important - it has its own 210 MW stimulator which is not present not even in IITD. However, some labs like electrical need improvement as most of the instruments present there are obsolete. NPTI doesn't have their own playground but students generally avail the facilities of NTPC playground and their badminton court for which they have to literally beg to NTPC'

Clubs & Associations Yes Professional Clubs, Cultural and Arts Clubs are very active Sports infrastructure and sports facility avail on campus Hostels & Food On and Off campus hostel avail and very decent quality of food available both on and off campus, room rent are pretty decent

Hostels & Food On campus accommodation to over 2500 students in its 10 hostels 5 each for girls and boys. free WiFi inside campus area. Cooperative Mess each hostel has facility for indoor games,recreation, STD and canteen good and healthy food. College Infrastructure The institute has its own campus spread over a picturesque landscape of about 15 acres in faridabad, which is a neatly planned city and well developed industrial centre. the campus houses the main institute building, guest house, hostels, sports complex, and residential quarters for both academic and administrative staff.
