B.Tech [Bachelor of Technology] Details

NIT Durgapur B.Tech is a full-time 4-year undergraduate course, spread across eight semesters. B.Tech is the flagship program of NIT Durgapur provided in 8 different specializations like Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and more. NIT Durgapur also offers a five-year integrated B.Tech + M.Tech program in two specialisations.

Admission to NIT Durgapur B.Tech is based on scores obtained in the JEE Main exam, followed by JoSAA counselling. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 results will be declared on April 25, 2024 and JoSAA 2024 counselling registrations will tentatively start from June 10, 2024.

NIT Durgapur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

As per the NIT Durgapur B.Tech eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with 75% aggregate marks. Candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as an optional subject at the 10+2 level.
