Additional Details for Manipal University, [MU] Manipal:

• The candidate who have passed 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent Physics, Mathematics and English as primary subjects along with Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Biology/ any technical vocation subjects as optional with a minimum aggregate of 50% 
• The admissions are done on the basis of Manipal Entrance Test [MET]
• Both under general and foreign/ NRI categories can apply for the admission
• But any change of category from foreign/ NRI to general after admission will not be considered by the university

• For MBBS and BDS students

Freeship and Merit-cum-Means scholarship

• Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Candidates with NEET Ranking within 2001 and 5000 for the course of MBBS and ranks between 7,501 to 15,000 for the course of BDS are eligible for this scholarship.

• For B.Tech and B.Pharm:

Freeship and Merit-cum-Means scholarship

• Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: The B.Tech and B.Pharm students who ranked between  101 to 1000 in MET 2018 are eligible for this scholarship

2. AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme:

This scholarship is applicable to the students with parent's annual income less than 6 lakh per annum. The fees to be paid by the students availing this scholarship yearly is mentioned below.

3. Scholarships for Academy of General Education Students [SAGES]:

• There are a few scholarships reserved for the students who have done 2 years of PUC for an undergraduate course and for the students who have done 3 years of degree course for postgraduate courses in any AGE/ Dr TMA Pai Foundation college.

• A scholarship of INR 30,000 is offered to the final year students of Dental/ Medical Science who are exceptional in academics and sports

10. ITC Scholarship:

•  The scholarship of amount INR 3.5 Lakh is instituted by the ITC Hotel Ltd for the exceptional students of BHM

11. Teaching Assistantship:
