The first unit of JSPM started in the year 2001 under the “Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering” at Tathawade, a developing suburb in PCMC area near software park. Through JSPM, Prof. Dr T. J. Sawant established educational campus at Tathawade, Hadapsar, Wagholi, Bavdhan, Narhe at various suburbs of Pune City. Since 2014, the campus has been functioning at Barshi (A Town in Solapur District). All these campuses are having quality educational Institutes, schools and colleges with excellent Infrastructure and Academic ambience. Currently, JSPM has a widely spread organization with 7 Campuses, 78 Institutes, 10000 Staff, 400 Buses, 50000 Students. Prof. Dr T.J.Sawant is aiming to start a well equipped state-of-art Hospital and Medical college on one of the campuses. Establishing a Private University is also an ambitious project of its Founder Secretary Prof. Dr T.J.Sawant.

For the first year of the 4-year Degree course in Engineering (BE) /Masters in Engineering(ME )/ Masters in Management (MBA) candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra and the Pune University from time to time for admission in JSPM's Imperial College of Engineering and Research. All admissions are made strictly in accordance with the Government Rules in force at the time of admission. Candidates for admission 2024 to the college for Engineering UG, PG courses will be based on the eligibility criteria. JSPM's Imperial College of Engineering and Research UG Admission 2024

The college presently offers 4 Under Graduate with an annual sanctioned intake of 600 students. The student should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects or passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC. And obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

JSPM's Imperial College of Engineering and Research UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

All the candidates passed/ appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/ 12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2024. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2024. The admission fees for F.E and D.S.E will be around 1.07 lacs for open merit.

The college presently offers 5 Post Graduate with an annual sanctioned intake of 180 students. For admission to Masters in Engineering (ME)/ Masters in Management (MBA) candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra and the Pune University from time to time. All admissions are made strictly in accordance with the Government Rules in force at the time of admission.

All candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology or Pharmacy or Architecture from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent. For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. The admission fees for M.E and MBA will be around 1 lacs for open merit.

For admission in M.E, the candidate should be an Indian National. Also, he/ she must have passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology or Pharmacy or Architecture from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks. The candidate must have obtained a non-zero positive score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology or Graduates Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) conducted by All India Council for Technical Education. There is a separate quota for NRI/ OCI/ PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries or Foreign National.

The candidate should be an Indian National. The candidate must have passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by the University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent. The candidate must have obtained a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority (MAH-MBA/ MMS-CET 2019). There is a separate quota for NRI/ OCI/ PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries or Foreign National and also for Jammu & Kashmir Migrants.
