Student society like drama, dance, singing are available. The main festival celebrated in college is an annual day, teachers day, independence day and republic day. Life in college is boring there are no sports accessible to students. We don't have any thing to do except studying.
Only one hostel is available and the cost is around 8000 per month. PGs outside the college is 10,000 per month. The food quality and hygiene maintenance are not properly checked. It cost 35₹ per meal. Classroom have proper lights, the library does not have enough literature books like autobiographies or biographies. There is no proper dining hall. WiFi is available.
Classes usually start at 9 am to 5:30 pm. Regular projects and assignments are giving to us. Quality of teaching is not so influencing and the Method of teaching is old. The sports facility is available but not accessible to students.

Eligibility criteria for Home science honors in the Institute of hotel economics were purely merit based on 12th class. Cutoffs for particularly my course was comparatively little low because people consider home science course with no future scope. Although this course has a good future scope of given some more attention. I have given the medical entrance exam but didn't get any government college.
We have socities on dance, music, literary, street play, fashion etc. We have our annual cultural festival called FERIA Other than this college regularly organises sports and annual day every year.

The PGs are expensive since the college located in the south Delhi Hauz Khass. Canteen food is okay. There are 2 canteens in college. The classrooms are very better than the Delhi university's college.
The staff is very supportive and teaching method they have used in college is very modern. They focus on individual progress as well as group
