PLACEMENT

The Career Cell at IHE has been active for last few years and has been playing an important role in securing placements for the students and providing various opportunities towards finding a place in different industries and corporate sector to the deserving candidates. It tries to bridge the gap between academics and industry. It is involved in inviting various employers to the Institute and organizing meetings with the potential employers for the campus recruitment.

The objectives of Career Cell include:

• To create awareness among the students about the activities of Career Cell (CPC) created at the Delhi University and to keep records of the students registered at CPC.

• To increase job acquisition skills and groom students for facing interviews.

• To facilitate placement of students in different educational institutes, industries and the corporate sector.

The Career Cell helps students to get registered at the CPC of Delhi University to facilitate their placement through the University. Besides, the college has its own registration process where, final year students of all courses are encouraged to register and suitable placements are arranged. Perspective employers contact the placement cell and suitable candidates are then referred. These may include alumni too.

Students are employed as research associates in research projects at ICMR, AIIMS, CCDC, NIPCCD, IHE, etc

placed at reputed hospitals such as Apollo, Max, Fortis, Gangaram, Batra and wellness clinics such as VLCC, Dr Shikha’s Nutri-health Systems, Body Care etc. In the corporate sector the students have been employed by Nestle, PepsiCo, Whole Foods, First Seniors etc.
