Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Pune was established in 2004. It is affiliated to University of Calcutta. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.). It is a central government institute, devoted to research, teaching & application of not only statistics and allied sciences, but also the natural sciences, social sciences and their interface with the statistics. The college offers degree programs such as B. Stat., B. Math, M. Stat., M.Tech, Ph.D.
The aim of (ISI), Pune is to promote the study and dissemination of knowledge of Statistics and their use in research and practical applications. It provides the various facilities to research in many of fields of natural and social sciences.
The major objectives of the Institute are
