Library: The IIT Bhubaneswar library provides a large number of books and online learning courses for students.
Sports Facilities: Students have a lot of opportunities to thrive in sports and games. It concentrates on the general growth of numerous sporting activities. Cricket, football, badminton, basketball, table-tennis, volleyball, chess, lawn tennis, and athletics. Students participate in various intra and inter-college competitions regularly.
Hostel: Students can stay in one of three residence halls for a comfortable stay. The Subarnarekha Hall of Residence (for Girls) and the Mahanadi Hall of Residence (for Boys) are single-seat hostels with 210 and 800 beds. These two residence halls are located on the Institute's permanent campus in Argul. The Dr A.N. Khosla Hall of Residence (for Boys) is located near the academic campus in Bhubaneswar and has 70 rooms with two seated accommodations. The IIT Bhubaneswar hostel features a gym, a common room, and other recreational amenities available 24x7.
Dining: All hostels feature dining areas for all inhabitants and serve healthy, nutritional meals. In addition, there are canteens and cafeterias inside and outside the hostel.
Shopping Complex: The campus has a mini-shopping complex to cater to daily needs. It provides services such as a medical store, ATM, ice cream parlour, bakery shop, stationery store, and general store.
Fitness Centre: The IIT Bhubaneswar has a well-equipped gymnasium for students. A gym teacher is also available for exercise advice and guidance.
Yoga and Meditation: In each hostel, yoga and meditation classes are held regularly. It is also available as a credit course for students. Yoga instructors teach many yoga and meditation to help students improve their physical and mental health.
Health Care: The Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar infrastructure has a dedicated team of doctors and personnel who monitor students health and well-being. Students have access to medical services 24x7. Students who require tertiary health treatment are referred to Bhubaneswar's hospitals. Ambulances are available round the clock for any emergency. Doctors and pharmacists are also available.
Counselling Service: There is a Student Counselling Center that ensures students well-being and encourages their personal, academic, professional, and social progress. The Counselling Service Team (CST) provides a secure, confidential, and private place for students to discuss their difficulties and challenges. There are hostels available for the students. Classrooms and labs are well designed, labs are full of equipment, the campus has fully Wi-Fi facilities.

Separate hostel for boys and girls. Hostel infrastructure is good, a single room is provided to each student. Hostel fee is INR 125000 p.a. Classrooms have AC & Mic system. WIFI is available throughout the campus.
