ACADEMICS & FACULTY

GITAM is a good college with able faculty & teaching system. Accesibility to study sources is high compared to other universities and they give their student enough of practical and industry exposure. Classrooms with modern infrastructure, with continuos evaluation process with tri-semester program. 89% of the faculty members are PHD degree holders and 80% of them come with Industry Exposure.

GANDHI INSTITUTE FOR TECHNOLOGY (GIFT) IS LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE CITY IN THE ADMIST OF NATURE. INSTITUTE WITH MORE THAN 25 ACRE OF LANDS AND FACILITIES ARE GREAT FOR STUDENTS. FACILITES AND HOSPITALITY IS THE BENCHMARK OF GIFT. THE IN-CAMPUS HOSTEL AND REFRESHMENT CANTEEN INCLUDING TWO HUGE PLAYGROUNDS NOURISHING STUDENTS HEALTH AND PHYSICALITY.
ALL ABOVE MENTIONED ARE SECONDARY.
GIFT IS KNOWN FOR ITS QUALITY EDUCATION AND NUMBER OF EXPERIENCED AND VERSATILE FACULTIES. FACULTIES ARE FROM NITs AND OTHER PRESTIGIOUS UNIVERSITIES, JUST DON'T CARE OF STUDENTS EDUCATION BUT HELP THEM TO DEVELOP THEIR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS ALSO. LABS AND AVAILABILITY OF MACHINES ARE THE MAJOR TOOLS TO SHARP ONE TECHNICAL SKILLS. WITH ALL SET UP OF LABORATRIES AND TALENTED LAB ASSISTANTS, GIFT UNDERSTAND THE BASIC NEEDS FOR STUDENTS TO EXCEL IN THEIR LIFE. GIFT ALSO TAKE CARE OF STUDENTS PREFERNCES AND PATIENCE. IT IS THE REASON WHY THERE ARE ONLY THREE CLASSES PER DAY OF 90 MINUTES, FOLLOWED BY LABS CLASSES ON ALTERNATE DAYS.
THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH PRINCIPLE, DEAN, HODs, FACULTIES AND STAFFS AT COLLEGE IS AMAZING. ONE WILL FIND IT LIKE (A) HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

A LOTS OF EVENTS AND CLUBS ARE THERE IN THE COLLEGE LIKE ROBOTICS CLUB, MUSIC INSTRUMENT CLUB, PAINTING CLUB, SPORTS CLUB, DRAMA CLUB ETC. THESE CLUBS MEMBERS BROUGHT GREAT GLORIES FOR THE INSTITUTE NOT ONLY AT THE STATE LEVEL BUT ALSO AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL.
MANY EVENTS LIKE LALLIHAN AND ANNUAL SPORTS DAY ORGANISED YEARLY BY THE INSTITUTE.
LIFE IN COLLEGE IS GREAT. A COMPLETE ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENT TO LEARN AND RUN HIS/HER LIFE TOWARDS SUSTAINABLITY.

we have each classs capacity of more than 60 people and it is vey spacious. we have many courses to do our teachers are talented and they can teach well and they are very helpfull outside the class

FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE

all of the students will talk in english.our college stict in behaviour of the students. our professors will speak in english and they are fluent in english i think there is a patnership with foriegn universities

Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management is a good college. Classes are regular and fun.
The methodology of teaching is good and there are no classes on computers or practicals.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), functioning under Vidya Bikash Educational Trust has come to the limelight to provide quality, technical education to not only the students of Odisha, rather the best possible opportunity to the students, coming from the eastern part of the country also. The institution is laid out over 16 acres of land at Gangapada, situated in the heart of the so called Temple City of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology and has received its recognition from the State Government of Odisha.
