Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Mumbai is among the earliest institutions of higher learning that emerged on the educational landscape of the erstwhile city of Bombay. The College is one of Mumbai’s old colleges; it is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai and was accorded the UGC recognition under 2f in 1974. Its financial status is grant-in-aid. The College vision is to instill the idea of ‘service to humanity’ in the young Khalsites through holistic development of their personality and to impart quality education to students and to motivate them to strive for excellence.
GN Khalsa College of Arts Science and Commerce, Mumbai falls in the list of the city’s oldest educational institutions and has been serving as a popular centre of learning with verdant ambience and well equipped building. This grant-in-aid college is a minority college but believes in the ideals of unity and humanity. It got UGC’s recognition in 1974 and currently possesses more than 6,000 students and stands tall in an area of more than 27,000 sq. yards. In order to perpetuate and uphold Sikh culture, it conducts Punjabi classes, Akhand Path, Langar and divinity classes.
