The WBJEE 2026 exam date will be announced soon on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in. The exam is expected to be held in the last week of April 2026. Registration is likely to begin from January to February 2026, for admission to engineering, pharmacy, and architecture courses.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech:
- All the applicants must have passed 10+2 exam conducted by the central board of secondary education or any of its state equivalents.
- The candidates must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks overall along with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics mandatory subjects from any recognized university/institution.
- An aggregate marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for the SC/ST candidates.

Application Process for B.Tech:
The candidates who wish to join the institution to pursue their undergraduate course(B.Tech), can apply in two ways:
- The candidates can apply through WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam) which a state board run entrance exam for all the students of the state of West Bengal.
- The candidates can also apply through JEE MAIN Mains, an all India level entrance exam for the admission of candidates into the B.Tech course across India.

Admission Process for B.Tech:
- Once the candidates successfully complete the process of taking up the entrance exam, they have to go through the concerned admission counseling process to avail themselves a seat in the institution based on their performance at the entrance tests and the marks scored in the concerned qualifying exams.
- At the Counseling process, once the candidates get themselves a seat in a course, they are expected to lock in the seat and report back to the institution with the proof of seat allocation by the counseling board.
- Candidates are also expected to get all the necessary documents required by the institution.
