●Daily routine is fantastic.College starts at 9 AM and ends at 5 PM.In first half i.e 9 AM to 12 PM we have theoretic classes and in second half we have practicable.We have internal exams after every 2-3 months and external exams after every 6 months i.e semester end exams.

●Teaching quality is marvellous.Our college have so many good teachers.they have so many patents and everyone is done with their PHD. They are highly qualified.They use PowerPoint presentations and Markers both for making us understand each and everything.Practical classes are very innovative.

●College is excellent.I get nice positive vibes everywhere.Everyone is very supportive.Students help each other.Their is nothing like discrimination or something.Everyone is treated as same.There is a lot of positive energy inside the college.

Life in the college is funny but hectic, interesting, and exciting. Mainly, 2 fests are organized here.

Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics started in the year 2004. It qualifies as one of the finest institute imparting B. Tech in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics and M. Tech (integrated) in Biotechnology owing to its excellent faculty and supreme infrastructure. In the year 2007, the institute started M.Sc in Biotechnology & in the year 2010, the institute started Ph.D. program in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.

Biotechnology is industrial and pharmaceutical application of cell and molecular biology. Our greatest advantage is India's biodiversity and large pool of young scientists with strong base in physics, chemistry, biology, computation and mathematical sciences.

Bioinformatics is essential for development and design of new products and processes, reducing cost, manpower and time needed for a new discovery. Although the current market is not big (about a million US $), new developments in research and development (R & D) in pharma sector, contract research outsourcing (CRO), drug trials and medical informatics is going to change drastically India's role in this new upcoming industry.

Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics qualifies for one of the finest institute awarding B. Tech in Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology and Bioinformatics and M.Tech (integrated) in M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics and Ph.D. in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics. This is because of its excellent faculty and supreme infrastructure. Started in the year 2004 its Biotechnology labs are equipped with laboratory facilities in biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, animal tissue culture and plant tissue culture. The Bioinformatics is well equipped with high speed computers, application software and Internet facilities. These gives an excellent opportunity for the creation of young graduates with sound theoretical & practical basis for venturing into 21st-century problems.

For general reading, library has 5 magazines & 7 daily newspapers in English & local languages. In an addition to this library also has a facility for interlibrary loan, Photocopying, Book Bank facility, References services, Digital Libr
