DSI organizes photography exhibition and conducts photography workshops. They also conduct blood camps and frequent health check-ups. The main fest of DSI is Furore, it is an inter-college fest. Torque is the mechanical fest conducted by the college.
There are 3 hostels in DSI. 2 hostels for boys (NRI and Indian Hostel) and 1 common hostel for girls. DSI charges around 25,000 rupees per year for Indian hostel and 40,000 rupees per year for NRI hostel. The cost of PGs outside college is 5,000 to 6,000rs per month. There are 2 canteens and 2 coffee shops inside the college. The food in college is pretty decent and charges around 60rs to 70rs per meal.

The candidate should have passed the 12th/2nd pre-university from a recognised university. The candidate should not have to write any entrance exam for BBM, B.com, B.sc and B.ca. The candidates with pass class will be admitted for the management course.
The college timings start from morning 8.30 and end at 3 pm(including 30mins lunch break time). The teaching here is very good with well experienced and friendly faculty. We can contact our lecturers at any time to clear our doubts and they cleared my doubts without any hesitation. DSI conducts a lot of workshops and provides soft skills training to all the students. DSI conducts industrial/field visits every year which helps the students to gain more knowledge and will get to know how that business works. Faculties assign our various projects and conduct 2 internals for every semester.
No clubs or students society. Management fests are held every year which is not up to the mark

I did the internship in BHEL for 1 month after my second semester. Godrej, Byjus, JP Morgan, Tompson, and roiters, etc are few companies that hires from our college. 5-6 lakhs is the average package they offer usually. 35-45 percent of people got placed in our batch.they will conduct alumni meet once in every year

In DSI every department has formed its own association, each department has one association which altogether gather for fest management. Apart from this DSI has sports association, Social welfare and Innovation management association.

Basically, there is two type of hostels - Indian and NRI hostel separate for boys and girls. The hostel fee for Indian hostel being INR 80000 PA that is INR 8000 per month with 4 sharing along with food with common bathrooms and NRI hostel is INR 1,20,000 PA that is INR 12,000 per month with 2 sharing and food and attached bathrooms. DSI has strict rules for hostels for safety purposes.
There are many PG facilities in and around the college, the cost of which varies from INR 5000 to 10,000 per month depending on the sharing of the room and facilities.
The food court in college consists of a variety of options from Goli vada pav to multi cuisine NRI canteen. Hygiene and quality of food are given priority. The basic food meal plate costs around INR 50 per meal.
DSASC has well-structured classrooms which are comfortable for students. The labs are well equipped with systems and technology with highly trained personnel. The wifi facility provided for students is high-speed 4G, on daily basis, every student has limited usage of 1 GB/day. DSI infrastructure is a well equipped and GO Green campus.
The usual daily routine is from 9 to 5 during which a 12 to 1 lunch hour gap is provided, during projects its 9 to 12 and exam timings are set by the Bangalore University.
DSASC has a highly educated faculty who walk the extra mile for quality educational teaching. The classroom teaching along with digital space is utilised for the teaching.
Overall DSASC is everything a student can ask for quality education and a fun loving student life.
DSASC has course fee of INR 2.50 L for a course duration of two years for PGCET students and that for management students varies from INR 8 to 10 L for course duration of two years. There are scholarship options for students below economic earnings and caste based. Around 20% of students avail the scholarship. Basically, loans are not needed but if needed they are well approved and provided by Vijaya and Axis bank.
DSI is a high-quality educational institute, high prestigious companies recruit from DSI with very good packages. Companies like BYJU's, Godrej, Rent mojo, JP Morgan, Thomson's, Capital Fund, Vizury with the basic package of INR 6 LPA. The minimum package starts from INR 3 LPA to the highest being INR 10 LPA. DSI has placements percentage of around 75-80%.
DSI has a high number of alumni network working at very good posts, every alumni working connects to students by addressing the students and helping them understand the corporate structure and expectations.
I got admitted into DSASC through PGCET. PGCET is an entrance examination for postgraduate education in Karnataka state. The cutoff for DSI is very high and it is difficult for people to get into DSI beyond 3000 ranking. Luckily my rank was within that of the cutoff which varies every and keeps on dropping as its getting more competitive every year.
DSI is having student societies like Mechanical Engineering Students Association, DSI football club, cricket clubs, and social welfare associations.

NRI hostels will be having 2 sharing rooms with attached bathrooms and non-vegetarian food (optional). And rooms will be highly furnished.

MBA course fees is around INR 6,00,000 for 2 years in Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Bangalore. And for management students, it varies from INR 8,00,000 to 10,00,000. And the scholarships will be based on merit as well as caste basis for the students who are below the poverty line. Around 60% of students will get a scholarship. Loans are needed for some students, AXIS bank and Vijaya bank will provide education loans for DSI.
DSI is getting many placements with good packages as they are giving quality education to their students. And many companies are recruiting students from DSI to work in their companies. Companies like BYJU's, Godrej, Rent mojo, Thomson's, JP Morgan, Vizury etc.with average package of INR 4-5 LPA.And around 80% of the batch is getting placed every year.
DSI is having a strong Alumni network which helps the students to organise IV's with the help of alumni network.
For MBA eligibility criteria was like we should have first class that is 60% in our UG course. And PGCET was the entrance exam that I took for MBA. and I got 1200th rank, and the cutoff was 3000 for DSI.
College life is good. College Fest is held every year. Many festivals are celebrated in the college.

You have to complete your 12th grade. I entered this branch through KCET, which is an entrance exam that is written in Karnataka. The cut off for my branch was 8500 which gradually increases after the rounds.
