Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, established in 2001, is a private, self-financing institution affiliated with Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college initially offered programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Information Technology, each with an intake of 60 students. Subsequently, Mechanical Engineering (2006), Civil Engineering (2011), and Computer Science and Engineering (AIML) (2021) were introduced, maintaining the intake of 60 students per branch.

The campus spans 10 acres on the outskirts of Kolhapur, 10 km from the central bus stand and 2 km from the airport. Its serene, pollution-free environment supports a strong teaching-learning ecosystem. The campus features eco-friendly infrastructure, including water harvesting systems, aerodynamic buildings, and solar heaters, ensuring compliance with AICTE standards. UG Admission Process:

To apply for the B.Tech program at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility for B.Tech

• Candidates should have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational.
• Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in class 12th (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates).

Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry

• Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology or a B.Sc degree with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Selection Criteria for B.Tech

• Admissions are based on the candidate's score in the MHT CET or JEE Main exam.
• A merit list will be released, and candidates will be shortlisted based on their exam ranks.
• The admission process will be carried out through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), which includes:

• Document verification
• Selection of the desired course and college
• The CAP will consist of three rounds, and seat availability will be updated on the official website after each round.
• Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotment must report to the Admission Reporting Center to confirm their seat.

M.Tech Eligibility

To apply for the M.Tech program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates who have at least 2 years of work experience.

M.Tech Selection Criteria

• Admission to the M.Tech course is based on the GATE score.
• A merit list will be created based on the GATE scores of the candidates.
• Candidates whose names appear on the merit list must participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), which consists of 3 rounds of counselling.
• During the counselling, candidates will select their preferred course and college, and their documents will be verified.
• After each round of counselling, seat allotments will be made according to the candidates' ranks and their preferences.
• Candidates who are allotted a seat must report to the designated Admission Reporting Center to confirm their seat.
