Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute [BMCRI] accepts the NEET exam for MBBS admission, for UG and PG Nursing courses admissions are done based on the entrance exam conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. For MD and MS courses, students who have completed MBBS can apply for admission, 50% of the seats are allotted for State Entrance Exam conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and remaining 50% seats are allotted for All India Entrance Exam conducted by Director General of Health Services. BMCRI UG admissions for MBBS is based on students' medical score in NEET UG conducted all India wide, to take admission in MBBS students have completed a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of admission. BMCRI also offers B.Sc in Nursing.
Minimum eligibility for getting admission into MBBS is to pass in (10+2) in any recognized college and should have minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and have written NEET UG exam conducted all India wide. For MS and MD BMCRI PG Admission Eligibility is to have an MBBS degree certificate from a medical college recognized by the Medical Council of India and have completed an internship and also merit in the NEET PG exam.

Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute also offer Diploma and Certificate courses where Diploma course is for 2 years and Certification course is for 3 years, DMLT (In Bowring Hospital) course is for 12 months and DMXT (In Bowring Hospital) is for 8 months. There are only 10 seats for each Diploma and Certificate courses.

Fees & Scholarships : The Course fee at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute for M.B.B.S. per year differs from General to category. General Course fee per Semester or 6months is about INR 6-7k Category Course fee per semester or 6months is about INR 2k. Fees do not including hostel/canteen charges. Examination fees are extra and differ from year to year. Scholarships are subject to the number of candidates who apply and the ones that qualify but are usually a hectic ordeal. Loans are usually not needed but are easily available as this is a govt medical college with a very low fee structure.
