Amala Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS:

Amala Institute of Medical sciences offers MBBS courses for students who are eligible for admission.The annual intake of MBBS students are limited to 100. Out of 100 Seats, 50 seats will be allotted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala. 35 seats will be filled up by the management and they will be allotted through centralized counseling by the Kerala Christian Professional College Management Federation. The remaining 15 (NRI) seats are reserved for NRI Students, as per the prevailing Government norms.

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences MD:

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences provides MD courses in various specializations. The annual intake of PG courses, as of now, is 45. Of these 50% of seats will be filled by CEE and the rest by the management. There are 5 seats for PG Superspeciality courses - 2 seats in Cardiology, 1 seat in Neuro Surgery, and 2 seats in Pulmonary Medicine.

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences B.Sc Nursing:

Amala College of Nursing is a unit of Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, under the auspices of CMI Devamatha Province. It was established in 2005, with an intake of 50 students. It is recognized by INC and KNC and is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences. The college offers a basic B.Sc. Nursing program and M.Sc. Nursing program. The course is 4 years long.

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences Cut Off:

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is conducting various Entrance Examinations and/or Allotment Process for admission to Professional Courses every year: Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical (KEAM) courses, Three year LLB, Five year LLB, LLM, BPharm (Lateral Entry), PG Ayurveda, PG Homoeo, PG Nursing, PG Medical, PG Dental, PG Pharmacy. The allotments are made through a Single Window System of the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Amala Institute of Medical Sciences cut off are based on NEET exams.

  • Pass in 10+2 from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together.
  • They have to clear the KEAM NEET entrance exam.
  • Applicant should have completed 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. 
  • It will be 55% marks in case of religious nuns of Roman Catholica Church
B.Sc (Nursing)
  • Candidates with 10+2 and PCB combination minimum 50% mark.
  • Admission is on the basis of merit only.
M.Sc (Nursing)
  • Candidates with one-year teaching or clinical experience
DMLT/ DRRT
  • Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination with at least 60% marks or above in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
