Steps to Register Online for SSC CGL
Candidates with a valid bachelor's degree from a recognized university, college, or institute in India could apply for the SSC CGL exam.
Follow the steps below to apply for the SSC CGL online registration form correctly:
Step 1: Log in to the official website of the SSC - ssc.nic.in
Step 2: Register on the site by clicking on the 'New User'/ Registration link.
Step 3: Enter essential details such as your name, parent's name, date of birth, etc.
Step 4: Verify all details carefully before continuing to click on submit. A registration ID will be provided to all aspirants for the SSC CGL 2023 examination.
Note: If you forgot the SSC CGL registration number or are looking for how to restore the SSC CGL registration ID, you could recover it by logging on to the website and entering your email ID or Phone number.
Step 5: Once done, you will need to log in with the registration ID, date of birth, and password to finalize the process.
Step 6: After you log in, you will be directed to upload your photograph and signature. Before uploading the images, make sure they are in line with the criteria and measures specified by the Stall Selection Commission of India.
Image Criteria:
- Photograph: The background of the image must be white or a light color. The image size must be within 4-12 kb and the resolution 100 x 120 pixels (Width and Height).
- Signature: The candidate's signature must be in black or blue ink on a plain white sheet. The image must be in jpg format and within 1-12kb size. The resolution must be 40x60 pixels (Width and Height).
Step 7: The final step is payment. Aspirants can pay the SSC CGL registration fees online via BHIM UPI, Netbanking, Credit or Debit cards, or other specified online wallets. Aspirants can also pay offline in cash at any SBI branch by generating an SBI Challan. The online fee is INR 100. There is no fee for female applicants, SC, ST, PWD, or Ex-servicemen.
Note: Candidates are instructed to take a closer look at the entire document and images before submitting them. If the application form is submitted, it cannot be edited or rewritten. Instead, print out a copy of the submitted form for SSC CGL online enrollment for future use.
