SSC CGL Tier 1 (Preliminary)

SSC CGL Tier 1 is the preliminary exam. It is an objective-based, multiple-choice exam that includes 4 sections: English Comprehension, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. The preliminary exam is conducted online via a computer-based test. Tier 1: preliminary exam’s duration is 1 hour or 60 minutes. The total mark for the preliminary exam is 200 with 50 marks allotted for each section. The SSC CGL scorecard for the preliminary exam determines if the candidates can write the other exams. They help recruit staff for Group B and C posts.

Steps to Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Results with marks

The results for the Tier 1 preliminary exam will be released soon after the exams are concluded. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check the results of the exam:

• Visit the official website for SSC.
• Click on the ‘Results’ tab on the homepage to check the candidate’s results.
• There will be a list of results of various exams mentioned on the webpage. Click on the link for the SSC CGL exam.
• The link will display a list of roll numbers. If the candidate has qualified for the next exam, their roll numbers would be mentioned.
• Use the ‘Ctrl+F’ function to find your name or roll number. Type in the candidate’s registration number and the name will appear if they have qualified for the next stage of the examination.
