Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2025: Registration (Till Sep 16), Seat Allotment, Merit List, College Reporting

Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2025 is organised by the DMER. TN NEET PG 2025 counselling registration link is active at tnmedicalselection.net till Sep 16, 2025. 

Students who will participate in round 1 can check their seat allocation status in online mode. The Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2025 round 1 seat allotment result will be available at tnmedicalselection.net.

The counselling procedures are held under the jurisdiction of the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chennai. Candidates who submit the correct details will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. In addition, candidates from the same state domicile are allowed to participate in the counselling provided they produce the correct documents.

The Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling process will take place for admissions into various MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses in government-led/aided or private unaided medical colleges.

Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2025 Process

Candidates must follow the specified steps while registering for the Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2025 process. We have added the step-by-step instructions in the following points.

Step 1: Online Registration for Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2025

• Candidates must visit the official website.
• Under the PG courses, search for the Medical and Dental course option. 
• Click on the relevant link and register.
• Moreover, candidates must use their NEET PG 2025 roll number for registration. 
• Once done, proceed to pay the registration fees.

Step 2: Preparation of the State Rank List

• The conducting authority will prepare the Tamil Nadu NEET PG merit list for all the registered candidates. 
• The NEET PG scores are used to formulate the merit list. 
• Candidates whose names appear in the merit list are allowed to participate in the counselling process.

Step 3: Online Choice Filling and Locking

• After the registration process, candidates must select and lock in their preferred college.
• Additionally, candidates must pay INR 1000 to lock their seats.

Step 4: Seat Allotment List

• Once the choice-filling process is over, the seat allotment list is released online. 
• Candidates must note that the conducting authority will give admission to their preferred college based on available seats and merit list.

Step 5: Reporting to the allotted institute

• The selected candidates will be required to report to the assigned institute for verification of documents within the stipulated period and complete the admission process.
