Eligibility Criteria for BA, B.Com:

  • Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent.
  • Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum 40% for B.A, B.Com, 45% for B.A (Hons), and 40% for B.Sc (Hons).
  • Senior School Certificate of various Boards recognized by Association of Indian Universities In Central Board of Secondary Education will be considered as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate of Central Board for purposes of eligibility to various Undergraduate Courses.

Eligibility Criteria for M.A:

  • The candidate should have done Graduation and a bachelor's degree obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities.

The fees for the courses vary according to the field of study.

  • It is mandatory for admission candidates to register online at Delhi University Portal through the given link below.

  • Sikh Minority students may also register online at College Portal if they desire so.
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to mention the University Registration number in the college registration form for Sikh Minority students.
  • All the candidates interested in seeking admission are required to fill the Common Pre-Admission Form either online or offline for all categories. This is mandatory for all the candidates. There will be no pre-admission form at the college level.
  • The candidates are allowed to fill only one common pre-admission form either online or offline.
  • The college publishes its prospectus which may provide information regarding the college, the courses offered and the number of seats in each course, fee structure, sports, extracurricular activities, etc.
  • There shall be no 'Additional Eligibility Criterion' for any category in any college/course.
  • The college shall convey the cutoff marks for the various courses to the office of Registrar, as per the schedule announced by the University. The college shall determine the cutoff marks prudently on the basis of past experience and class XII results of the School Boards. The office of Dean students welfare shall make available the information regarding the results of various school boards to the colleges.

  • The merit list for admission will be announced on the website.
  • After the declaration of the cutoff lists by the University, the student will need to report to the college of his/her choice for admission within the mentioned period.
  • The candidate would be required to fill the college admission form and the University enrollment form.
  • The candidate would then get his/her documents verified, submit the same to the college and pay the admission fees.

At the time of admission, the applicant shall be required to produce the following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies:

  • Class X Board Examination Certificate
  • Class X Mark sheet
  • Class XII Mark sheet
  • Class XII Provisional Certificate/ original certificate
  • Character Certificate (recent)
  • SC/ST/PWD Certificate (in the name of Candidate) issued by the competent authority.
  • Two Passport size photographs signed by the student at the back.
  • Transfer certificate from school/college, as well as Migration Certificate from Board University, are required from those students who have passed Senior Secondary Exam from outside Delhi.
  • Medical fitness certificate mentioning blood group.
