Placements and Internships
Campus placement is very good. many of us wanted to do masters and will apply for placement. Last year companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Concentrix has arrived on campus for placement. The annual salary package is 4-5 lakhs. Alumni are working in Concentrix and some in max hospital and more.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Life is cool. I envied the hostellers, they got to spend the maximum time here on this wonderful campus. Nonetheless, I had my share of fun too. The BFIT campus was always abuzz with some activity or other, technical to academic to cultural, had a glimpse of everything here. The facilities and infrastructure of the institute complement its academic ecosystem. The institute’s classrooms, laboratories, library, and seminar hall serve, support, and enhance the teaching-learning process.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Students who have passed 10+2 or senior secondary examination with at least 45% marks can join the bachelor of science information technology course. The students need to qualify for the written examination and personal interview conducted by the institute, the selection will be based on merit.
Academics and Faculty
Great. Up to date subjects and the style of marking was innovative, loved the attitude of teachers. Supportive, cooperative, and knowledgeable, this is how I describe my teachers. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders, many faculty members are supportive. You even have mentors for various projects. The facility is always ready to help students and they focus more on practical based learning.
The course curriculum is designed by experts and reviews at different levels for approval. The curriculum provides industry-specific knowledge to the students and that is helpful for our on-campus placement and internship. Most importantly, industrial visits are organized every semester for classes separately all decided by the affiliated HNB University with BFIT.
Fees and Scholarships
BFIT Group of Institutions, Dehradun Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 31,000 per year.
Along with that, we can apply for scholarships but for that, we are supposed to give exams. Many of my classmates have received a scholarship.
Clubs and Associations
Sports, inter-department, annual fest, Rangrezza, and Techno Jashan. A lot of activities throughout the year are conducted to keep us busy. You can even earn during the annual fest as there are cash prizes for winners. Also, you can go up to national level competitions as our college is very prestigious and respected among all the colleges. And we get a chance to see other college students as well.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission is made as per college and university requirements. The entrance test and test name is AIBFEE, and we need to fill the application online on the college website. Once clear, we need to pay the fee and documents.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : We must attend the CET(common entrance test), and if you pass the exam, on the next day interview will be there. Then after that they will publish the merit list for eligible students. And they will give the date and fee structure for paying fees and when the class starts. We have 6 semesters. And 4core subject and 1 elective.on the last year we have 2 electives. And for each semester we have ore internal exam in the middle of semester and preparatory exam and final exam on the semester ending.
