Eligibility Criteria for MMMUT Admissions

To be eligible for the undergraduate programs offered by Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Undergraduate Programs

• The candidates need to have cleared the 10+2 examinations from a recognized board of education with a minimum of 55% marks.
• For admission into the B.Tech program, the candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core subjects during the 10+2 examinations and achieved an aggregate minimum of 60% marks.
• For the BBA program, it is mandatory for the candidates to have English as one of their core subjects.

Postgraduate Programs

• For admission to postgraduate programs, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized college or university, with a minimum of 55% marks.
• For MCA, candidates should have studied Mathematics in their 10+2 examinations and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exams.
• For M.Sc, candidates should have completed their 10+2 examinations with a science stream.
• For M.Tech, candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 55% in their B.Tech program to be eligible for admission. They are required to appear for entrance exams accepted by the university, such as GATE and UPCET.
• For MBA, applicants must have a minimum aggregate of 50% in their undergraduate program. The university considers a valid score obtained in the CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate) for admission.

Doctoral Programs

• Candidates applying for doctoral courses must hold a Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognized college or university, with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examinations.
• Candidates are required to successfully clear the MET (Malaviya Entrance Test), which serves as the basis for the final selection process.

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology conducts online admissions for its various courses in disciplines like BBA, MCA, M.Tech, B.Tech, and others for the year 2024. Candidates must have successfully completed their education, with a minimum of 55% marks.

The selection process is based on merit, determined through an entrance examination organized by the University. A certain percentage of seats are reserved as per government regulations, and the final list of chosen candidates is compiled by the Selection Committee. 

During the counseling session, the allocation of the study program will be determined based on the candidate's merit ranking in the MMMUT Admission Test, seat availability, the candidate's preferences, and eligibility at the time of counseling.
