The university is known for it's best placement and internship programs. It also holds the world record for the highest number of placement opportunities. Every year many companies and associations came at CU campuses such as D Decor, Asian Paints, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Hatil, and many more. The number of offers has made is 6617 and the highest number of package has registered with a growth of 30%. The university helps the students to move further in their future with these associations and achieve their goals. The alumni network is strong and very helpful to the students.

The infrastructure is well maintained with a clean environment. Classrooms, labs, libraries, studio classes, and workshops all are maintained with updated techniques. There is a library for each department with all updated knowledge, research works, and developments. Hostels facilities are available and the quality of food is very nice and also affordable. WiFi facilities are available in and outside the campus. Proper security measures are also taken for the students to make the campus ragging free.

Chandigarh University is a place to achieve goals and dreams. The university has achieved A+ grade by NAAC. Every year admissions are based on the percentage in the 12th or entrance test scores. The eligibility criteria for the admission is that the candidate should score atleast 50% marks in 12th from any recognized board and 45% for ST/SC.

The faculty members of CU are well qualified, helpful, and disciplined. The method of teaching is very good. The course curriculum is updated, flexible, and helps the students to know about the new trends and techniques of modern society. The faculty also organizes seminars, site visits, workshops, and activities for the students and make students ready for the corporate world.  

The university offers scholarships to the students based on their performance in the CUCET entrance test and gives the students some additional awards and benefits. The university believes in bringing higher standards of qualification to the students. The scholarship helps the students financially and to move further with their goals and dreams. 

The university also organizes various clubs and associations to uplifting the best potentials in students other than academics. There are various clubs and social groups in which students can participate such as dance, music, theater, art, literature, environment, social service, sports, and many more. As the CU campus is diverse and has a student of every culture, many cultural events and programs are also celebrated such as Cu Fest, CU cultural event, sports event, etc. The campus life is very good and fun.
