There are many scholarships provided by alumni network in AMU. BSc Hons in AMU has its own place in India.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are many halls each having hostels around 6 to 7. If u don't get a hostel. There are many PGs near college for which you have to pay around 4000 to 6000.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
AMU conducts an entrance exam for Bsc Hons every year. Eligibility for entrance: 1. Candidate must have passed 12th with minimum of 55%. Cut off: Changes every year.it depends on no. Of students giving entrance exam.on an average its about 40 for internal students and 50 marks for an external student. The entrance exam is of 100 marks.
Academics and Faculty
Hostel life is awesome here. You get a platform for the preparation of your future. Teaching is good but not as expected from a central university like AMU. You will find that it's a great opportunity for u if u get admission here
Fees and Scholarships
Admission fee is 9000 per year and hostel fee is around 15000 per year including mess charges. Many students get scholarships based on merits and financial conditions.
Clubs and Associations
There are many societies and student clubs such as CEC, hall fests are celebrated in every hall every year where you will find interesting competitions such as painting, drawing, dancing, singing etc.

Academics & Faculty : Class start from 8 A.M to 1:30 P.M. Exams are held twice in a year and regular assignments are given by the teachers on various topics. Teachers are highly experienced. Simulated teaching which engulfs all aspects of the subject. Various methods like lecture method, demonstration method, etc are used while teaching. Overall exprience is quite good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 19 Halls of Residence and one Non-Resident Students Centre (NRSC). Hostels are in good conditions with great hygiene and a very green and fresh environment. Hostel fees per month is 1500 INR. PGs options are a bit hard to find outside the university premesis. Their cost per month is approx 4000 INR. The food in the mess can never be good where ever it is served. Quality of classrooms are now getting better with not all but few smart classrooms. Labs are great with good assistance and up to date equipments. Wi-Fi is satisfactory with average speed of 100 kbps and the best thing about the hostel life is the average time of electricity shortage is approximately negligible.
