Jaquar Jack's Review on VIT University, [VIT] Vellore

I am yet to do my internship. Many IT companies hire from my campus. Some of the dream companies like Amazon, eBay, Microsoft also hire from our campus. Our course has a decent percentage of placement into INR 10 lakh or more than INR 10 lakh per annum salary package.

I am not a hosteller but there is quite a huge number of hostels with good infrastructure. The food provided in hostels is also quite good as heard from my hostel friends.

The eligibility criteria for my course is to complete 12th board exams and the admission procedure was based on the percentage of marks obtained in my board exams. There were no entrance exams for this course.

Our college has FFCS system so the course selection, the faculty and timing is all decided by students. We can select morning slots or afternoon slots for theory and labs. Assignments are digital and submitted online. Overall experience in college is awesome and my whole college life is filled with happiness. We get more exposure.

Based on our twelfth grade marks the fees is determined. My fees is around INR 1.5 lakhs per annum. There are lots of scholarship options available to students who perform well in their academics. Loans are not needed but still many banks offer educational loans easily to students who perform well in their studies.

There are many clubs and chapters. So many that I can't remember all of them. Main festivals on campus are Diwali and Pongal celebration. The Gravitas and Rivera are the cultural events of our college. General life in our college is filled with work and enjoyment.
