Placements and Internships
No, I haven't done any internship yet. Reliance Industries, APPOLO tires, CEAT, Pidilite etc are the major companies hiring students from us. The average salary is about INR 2 lakhs per annum and the maximum is INR 6 lakhs per annum. About 60% of the all passed students will get placed from the college itself. The rest might opt for higher studies. We have good alumni network which helps us in all ways.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
6 hostels and the hostel fee is INR 300 per month and about INR 4000 per month for PGs. The food is awesome.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
All Indians can get into this course. Those who seek admission to the course they should complete his plus two and after that, they have to pass the entrance exam to get admitted to the course. CAT (Common Admission Test) conducting by CUSAT is the entrance exam we have to write. Normally 100 to 120 will be the cutoff.
Academics and Faculty
The class is from 9 am to 4 pm, 2 assignments, 2 projects and 4 exams per subject in a sem. Good quality of teaching.
Fees and Scholarships
INR 25,000 is the course fee for Polymer Science Engineering at Cochin University of Science and Technology per year. Egrantz is a scholarship available for the students. 10 students. No need of loans
