Placements and Internships
Companies from IT, manufacturing come to hire students. The average salary is about INR 4 LPA. Highest Salary was INR 25 LPA. About 80% people get placed. The alumni network is pretty strong. We have meets every year.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
2 boys and 2 girls hostel. Fee is INR 20k per semester. PGs quite cheap and readily available around the campus. Food is quite healthy. Strong WiFi. Equipped labs and varied library.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
College of Engineering and Technology, BHUBANESWAR is one of the prestigious state-funded colleges of Odisha which has an added advantage of its location at the capital city of Odisha. When I took the admission, it was through OJEE, but now the scores are evaluated from JEE-Mains. Typically, Instrumentation and Electronics had to rank a minimum of 2000. I was ranked 1068.
Academics and Faculty
Class timings used to be 9 am-4 pm. Method is mostly lecture. It's quite good experience.
Fees and Scholarships
Course fee per year was Rs. 25K. There are various wavier options for merit. Loans could be availed easily from Syndicate bank.
Clubs and Associations
There are many clubs ranging from robotics to management. We have two main fests, one tech and other cultural. It's pretty good.
