Placements & Internships : Companies that hire from our college are TCS (Mass recruiter), Infosys, L&T, Mu Sigma, and various others. The key job roles are software engineer, project manager, sales manager, etc. The average salary figures are between INR 5-7 LPA, the average would be between INR 8-9 LPA and the highest salary vary between INR 10-12 LPA.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for B.Tech in Civil Engineering is through JEE mains and JEE advanced scores. Students interested in joining any engineering course need to qualify for JEE Main or JEE Advanced or any one of it. After the declaration of the results, the selected candidates are called for document verification such as 10th and 12th board certificates, residency proof, result sheet obtained in JEE Main or Advanced. After the document verification procedure, the selected candidate would be directed to the college for the payments for the 1st year. And finally, you get enrolled in the Bachelor's degree course irrespective of the branch. The typical cutoffs vary every year depending upon the number of students who qualify and the difficulty level of the exam. Briefly, the cutoffs lies between 90-100 of 360 for general candidates, 50-60 of 360 for reserved candidates. Recently this year the exam pattern has changed for JEE Main 2021 having total marks of 400.

Fees & Scholarships : College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 40,000 per annum. There is a scholarship option which is offered by the Government of Odisha, and there is no scholarship offered by the college. From a particular branch, 30-40 students get the scholarship. The scholarship depends upon JEE main ranking and the semester scores obtained during the 1st year of study.

Academics & Faculty : The class timings are generally from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Assignments and projects vary from semester to semester. Students who want to work on different projects can also talk to their respective coordinators or guides for their projects.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are four hostels in total, 2 for boys and 2 for girls. The hostel fee per semester is around INR 14,000, and it includes accommodation and food. There are many PGs available for boys and girls. The cost per month depends upon the location either far or near. Generally, its cost ranges between INR 30,000 to INR 40,000. The college is equipped with Wifi for every room in the hostel and also on the college campus. Besides, there are four libraries and respective labs for the lab courses in a different branch. All the branches are equipped with all the instruments required for the respective study.

Clubs & Associations : There are 8-10 student societies for cultural, tech, and literary works. The main festivals which occur in the campus are different nationals festivals such as Ganesh & Saraswati Puja and Biswakarma puja.
