XAT Age Limit

XAT 2026 Program wise Eligibility Criteria
XAT scores are accepted for different programs in the top participating colleges, such as MBA, PGDM, HRM, etc. The eligibility requirement is different for each of them.
XAT Eligibility Criteria for MBA
- A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree to apply for an MBA through XAT 2026.
- With a valid and admissible GMAT score, NRI and foreign applicants can also apply for this program.

XAT Eligibility Criteria for Part-Time Business Management
- The candidate should have attained a Bachelor's degree. The duration of the UG course pursued should be a minimum of 3 years.
- The candidate must have studied at a university incorporated by an act of the Central or the State Legislature in India or approved by the AICTE.
- An applicant doesn't need to have work experience to pursue this course.
XAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals
Foreign students can also apply for XAT Exam 2026, however, the required eligibility criteria is a bit different.
Applicants of these categories may appear for XAT 2026 or apply through their GMAT scores. The candidates may identify themselves as NRIs, PIOs, or Foreign Residents if they satisfy any of the conditions mentioned below:
NRIs: A person may be called an NRI if:
- They have not lived in India for 9 out of 10 years.
- The candidate has not stayed in the country for more than 730 days in the last 7 years.
Person of Indian Origin (PIO): Such persons hold the citizenship of a country other than India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. However, their parent(s) or grandparent(s) were or are citizens of India, as per the provisions of the Constitution of India.
