XAT Eligibility Criteria 2026: Educational Qualification, Age Limit, Work Experience

XLRI Jamshedpur is responsible to set the XAT Eligibility Criteria 2026. All of these eligibility requirements must be affirmed by those who wish to enroll in the Management courses offered by XAT 2026. The qualifying requirements for the XAT exam often include the applicant's nationality, educational background, and age limit. A three-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any field from an approved university is required of candidates.

The XAT may also be taken by students who are awaiting their results or are in their final year of a bachelor's degree. The XAT 2026 has no minimal prerequisites for graduation. Working professionals and those with professional degrees (CA/CS) are also eligible to take the XAT 2026 exam. Students must also note that there is no upper age limit for it.

XAT 2026 Educational Qualification Requirement

The details of the educational qualification required are as follows:

• According to the official XAT eligibility 2026 requirements, candidates must have completed a three-year Bachelor's degree in any stream from an accredited institution in India.
• Students in their last year are also eligible but must finish their graduation requirements by Jun 2023.
• According to official XAT exam eligibility, NRI Candidates and Foreign Nationals may also apply for this exam if they have a valid GMAT Score.
• According to the most recent official updates of XAT 2026 eligibility, there is no relaxation for candidates from the reserved category.

XAT Age Limit

The details of the XAT exam age limit are as follows:

• According to official updates, this exam has no age restriction. Regardless of age, individuals can register for the XAT exam. According to the most recent official announcement, XAT Eligibility does not specify an upper age limit.
• The exam is open to both recent graduates and working professionals.
• The candidates just have to finish their three-year degree requirements. XAT Results must be downloaded online by applicants using their login information.

XAT 2026 Program wise Eligibility Criteria

XAT scores are accepted for different programs in the top participating colleges, such as MBA, PGDM, HRM, etc. The eligibility requirement is different for each of them. 

XAT Eligibility Criteria for MBA

• A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree to apply for an MBA through XAT 2026.
• With a valid and admissible GMAT score, NRI and foreign applicants can also apply for this program.
• An applicant doesn't need to have work experience.

XAT Eligibility Criteria 2026 for HRM

• A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university to apply for HRM through XAT 2026.
• With a valid and admissible GMAT score, NRI and foreign applicants can also apply for this program.

XAT PGDM Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have attained a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• The duration of the UG course pursued should be a minimum of 3 years.
• The candidate must possess relevant, full-time work experience of at least 5 years.
• XAT 2026 and GMAT scores will be considered for admission.

XAT Eligibility Criteria for Part-Time Business Management

• The candidate should have attained a Bachelor's degree. The duration of the UG course pursued should be a minimum of 3 years.
• The candidate must have studied at a university incorporated by an act of the Central or the State Legislature in India or approved by the AICTE.
• An applicant doesn't need to have work experience to pursue this course.

XAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals

Foreign students can also apply for XAT Exam 2026, however, the required eligibility criteria is a bit different.

Applicants of these categories may appear for XAT 2026 or apply through their GMAT scores. The candidates may identify themselves as NRIs, PIOs, or Foreign Residents if they satisfy any of the conditions mentioned below:

NRIs: A person may be called an NRI if:

• They have not lived in India for 9 out of 10 years.
• The candidate has not stayed in the country for more than 730 days in the last 7 years.

Person of Indian Origin (PIO): Such persons hold the citizenship of a country other than India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. However, their parent(s) or grandparent(s) were or are citizens of India, as per the provisions of the Constitution of India.

Conclusion
