Nitin Singh's Review on Graphic Era University - GEU

I have done an internship rolled as a campus ambassador and the stipend was INR 3000. Every year the tech giant companies of India visits GEHU for the students to hire them and took about the whole batch sometimes. The Alumni network of the college is very large it is not only in India but also in foreign.

The infrastructure is amazing there are 9 hostels for the students having the capacity of 1000+, and hostel fees are not as much as other universities hostels. it is nearly about INR 1.2 lakhs for the premium room and INR 90000 for the basic room for 1 year. The PGs are also awesome there is proper hygiene in the PGs kitchens and bathrooms, the PG s cost around INR 60000 per year.

The eligibility for the course BCA is that the student should have maths in 12th and should have scored 55% marks. I didn't take any entrance exam. There were no cutoffs for this course.

The class timings are from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for 4 days of the week and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for the rest of 2 days of the week. The faculty gives the students assignment and projects for the better and self-learning of the topic. The exams are obviously simple if you have studied and tough enough if you haven't. The quality of teaching is one of the best. The faculty is well qualified and experienced. The method of teaching of the professors is amazing. The overall experience in the college is mind-blowing. I didn't think that I will be at this college and will be pursuing my Bachelor's.

Graphic Era Hill University is having the course fees of INR 80000 per year means about INR 40000 per semester. Yes the scholarship is also available for the highest scorers, and there is a 26% concession in the fees for the students who have Uttarakhand Domicile or have done 10th and 12th from Uttarakhand. There is a huge amount of students who get the scholarship from the college. There is no need of loans because the fees are not as high as other colleges but yes there is an option for the students who want to sanction a loan for their studies and unable to pay for the fees.

There are many student societies and technical clubs of the students which organises many technical quizes and workshops. There is no specific festival the college celebrates all the festival whether it is management, tech, sport or cultural. The life is awesome and gives an awesome experience for a student who wants a better education and college life.
