University does not provide any type of stipend to M.A. students except to scholarship provided by U.P. government. There is no procedure of internship in the course of M.A. If u wanna do internship, you have to arrange for yourself in free times. I have not seen any company or organization come to AU in psychology department for campus selection. Campus selection used to be before several years. I am in doubt for other departments also except few ones like economics and few others. I have no information regarding to Alumni network in college.

Nearly 6-7 boys and same for girls hostels exits. Nearly 12000 ₹ per year fee of the hostel. Mess facility is not available in some hostels while others have. Quality of foods are not very good and costs for nearly 30-40 ₹ per meal. Canteen facility is also available in the college. The infrastructure of college is better. Quality of classrooms is good. Library of psychology department is one the best in Asia. wi-fi facility is also available in college.

For getting admission in postgraduate in psychology from the University of Allahabad, you must have either graduated in psychology or graduation in another stream with minimum 60% marks. After that you have to appear in the entrance test conducted by AU, admission in course will be according to merit in the entrance test. When I qualified in M.A. in the entrance test, cut off was 143 out of 330marks but last year pattern has changed. Last year, the pattern has changed and cut off came to 70 marks out of 100 marks (not sure about total marks ). The overall university is good in few sense but bad in others. Teaching and management staffs are good but lack of practical exposure to students makes the value of course from AU low.

Professors are very serious regarding their teaching. Before the start of any exam, the course is completed by professors. Class timing is generally in between 10 A.M. -5 P.M. Quality of teaching is good, few professors are highly efficient while others are not. Generally, a combination of lecture and power point presentation is used for teaching. Experience of college is very good in theoretical works but lack of practical exposure is not appreciable.

A fee of M.A. in psychology is from is nearly1800 ₹ per year. U.P. government provide a scholarship to candidates according to his terms and conditions. Maximum chances exist you will get a scholarship. there is another program of scholarship to students who have got minimum 60% marks in the course. The maximum chance exists that you will get the scholarship if you are eligible. For paying 1800 ₹, I don't think you need a loan.

There are few student societies, clubs, and associations on campus. I don't know too much about it except few political associations. Department of psychology celebrates world mental health day, Psychology day, teachers day, Fresher and farewell (by students). Other major festivals are celebrated in different departments at a different level. Overall campus life is good but due to the several incidents of fights in campus and hostels, it is becoming worse day by day.
