NITIE has India's tallest hostel building with 16 floors. There are 3 hostels, one for girls, one for boys and third for Ph.D. students. The hostel is on twin sharing basis. The hostels have world-class amenities including clean toilets, water purifiers, WiFi, dining hall, common areas. There are grounds for almost all sports including basketball, volleyball, cricket, tennis, football, badminton, etc. The college has its own pond. The mess is also very clean but the food is okay. Typical mess bill comes at around 4,000 rupees.

To get into the PGDIM course of NITIE, you'll have to take CAT exam. Typical cutoffs are around 98%ile for general category, 89%ile for OBC and 70%ile for SC candidates. There are individual cutoffs for each section also. After clearing cutoffs, you have to come to NITIE for a group discussion and personal interview round.

The class timings are typically 8.30 am to 5-30 pm. The classes contain regular assignments as well as weekly quizzes by some professors. There are three semesters in a year. Most faculties have a Ph.D. from either a top B-school or an IIT. The faculties use Harward case studies for regular teaching. The college has the best faculties in the supply chain domain.

The fee structure for Post Graduate Diploma program is INR 2,70,000 per annum.

Loans are very easily available as this is a top-tier college. The scholarship is available for SC candidates as well as economically weaker students.

There are all sorts of clubs including Supply chain club, marketing club, finance club, investment club, consulting club, photography club, Spicmacy, Rotaract, cultural club, personality development club. The main festival on campus is Avartan which is a business fest which is attended by more than 5000 students and working professionals every year.
