Manly BPO's hired students from BSc physics but there are lots of good companies those look for other courses like BCA, Btech. Salary package is around INR 15k to 30k monthly but few good companies give more salary. If you are looking for colleges in Dehradun and want to get placed then GEHU is among best.

There are more than 4 or 5 hostels. Hostels are of very good quality there are lots of facilities available for hostel students food quality is very good though the fee is little high around INR 80k. There are lots of PG's around the university they are easily available for boys as well as girls at the cost around INR 3k to 5k monthly. There is a canteen available in college where food quality is good but little expensive. Classrooms are well-maintained, labs are in good qualities, the library is also full of books and there is a separate reading room available for study.

Criteria for admission to physics honours is very simple and you have to be 12th pass with PCM as your subjects and there is no entrance required to get admission. Till now there are no cutoffs for admission in physics honours.

Classes are regular for 6 days a week. There are 75% attendance criteria, class timing is in two shift either 9 am to 1 noon or 1 noon to 5 pm. Most of the faculties are PhD holder from a well-reputed institution like IIT's and highly knowledgeable. Teaching is good with weekly practicals. If you are regular in classes you will definitely acquire good knowledge.

My batch course fee is around INR 36k to 40k for Uttarakhand students and INR 46k to 50k for out of Uttarakhand students. Uttrakhand student has to pay less fee because they get 25% scolarship for their Uttrakhand domicile. And fee increases every year.

There are lots of events that occur every year on the campus. Students work in a team to manage such events. College fest called Grafest is held twice in a year. Every student gets a chance to show off their talent but College life in gehu is like very regular you have to go to the college almost every day in proper uniform.
