Niharika Mishra's Review on Garden City University

Our college has a strong alumni network, few of them have been placed in top biopharma and life sciences companies like Biocon, Hindustan Unilever limited etc. Since I am in the 4th semester there are no internships for me right now.Placements are good at this college. Average salary package is from INR 15,000 to 30,000 per month.

There are 3 hostels for girls and 2 for boys. Hostel fee is around INR 45,000 to 75,000 depending upon the seater. The food in the college is good and it costs around INR 40 per meal. Wifi is available but Wi-fi connectivity on the campus is not that good in the hostels. Classrooms and laboratories are good. The library is good with the projector facility.

The student must pass the 12th-grade exam with the good percentage. Admission procedure is completely done through online and aptitude skill test is taken before the admission.

Class hours start at 9:00 am. to 12:00 pm. 2 to 5 Assignments are given for each subject, which is a deciding factor for internal marks. Teachers are highly qualified and skilled, they provide study materials in the form of ppt and notes. Overall experience in the college is good.

The course fee is INR 3.6 lakhs for three years. Scholarships are available for students who score good percentage in 12th-grade. Above 70%- 10%, above 80%- 20%, above 90%- 30%. Around 50% of the total students get scholarships every year. Loans are available if it is needed by banks such as the Federal bank and syndicate bank.

There are various students clubs for each department, which includes science club, Nova Vita, Drama club, Aatma, Management club etc. They are handled by students under the guidance of teachers and conduct various fulfilled, engaging and acknowledging activities. The main festival in the campus is Gardenia which is a major event every year, empowering and appreciating extracurricular activities of students from host college and various other colleges as well. The college life, in general, is pretty interesting.
