Utkarsh Narsaria's Review on Garden City University

I have not been involved in any kind of internship. Various demanding companies visit campus for placement like Biocon, genetech, sterling biotech, Cipla, Novartis, Cadila. The average salary figures for these jobs varies from 3-8 lpa. we have a strong alumni network both inside and outside India, our college anticipates to its level best to ensure the alumni interaction of their seniors with the juniors.

there are overall four hostels including two boys and two girls hostel. the hostel fees vary with the types of room chosen for double sharing it is 85000/year inclusive of fooding. Near to college, there is a plethora of options available to live in , the price on pg varies from 5000-14000 per month.

The college administration makes sure to give the best quality food available. the food quality is good and available only for hostellers.

Excellent labs, libraries, dining halls. the complete campus is available with Wifi

-12th pass, with aggregate passing percentage of 60

- The admission was on basis of merit of marks and GCU entrance test

- knowledge of cutting edge technology 

I have classes from Monday to Saturday with timings from 0900 - 1530 hrs. our university is the first to introduce paperless assignments and projects submission and evaluation. We are alloted date limits ,within this period we have to submit our assignments. the methodology of teaching is very unique, as the sessions are very interactive and enjoyable. Sometimes the assignments are pratical depiction of our therotical knowledge which make learning very enjoyable.

I have opted for triple major course of Bsc. Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Genetics with fee structure of 56000/semester. Being a university the university has various scholarships of its own like Chancellor's young innovation award. the average number of students varies from 10-20 per course per year. No, not in my case but yes there is one branch of federal bank inside the campus which gives us various perks to easily avail student loan at a cheaper rate.

Various clubs are available like adventure club, comedy club, poetry club, science club etc. the grand event of our university is GARDENIA, there are some other events conducted all around the year like Bengal day, nepal day showing the cultural diversity of various states by their students. The college life is very enthutiastic, we are never away from work, there is a sequential chain of events for our betterment.
