College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Classrooms were good. Library too was pretty good. We could fine all possible books, magazines, newspapers, etc in the library. Wi-fi is a new concept now-a-days which in those days was not a requirements also. College campus was big . Transportation to college was also not an issue . Bus-stand was located near by only.
Academics and Faculty
During my college days, my college was considered one of the best colleges in Punjab. College used to start at 9 in the morning and end by 1 noon. Lectures were regularly conducted and not those long & boring ones. Professors tought us in a play-way. Assignments were given monthly & we were tested weekly. Professors were very amiable to us. Methodology chosen by professors to teach us immensly helped achieving our goals. Also, no professor denied for extra classes after college hours.
Fees and Scholarships
Fees in itself was very nominal. Still some consession in fees was given to some particular class of students. Scholarship holders were very few as scholarship was given to students who scored 60% or above. Bank loan or other such facility was also not provided .
