Placements and Internships
Placements vary every year. The college has a training and placement cell which brings many companies for interviews. Some of the companies are Wipro, TCS, Zaloni etc. ONGC, NEEPCO and organisations like OIL also come for placements. So we have a decent placement scenario every year.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility of getting admission to the B.tech is through ASSAM CEE examination held every month all over Assam. Total marks for the exam is 300, out of which usually 132 remains the cutoff for General though it varies every year. Around 108 is the cutoff usually for SCs and 65 for STs. negative marking is also there. During admission mark sheets of 10 and +2 are required along with PRC certificate.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate who wants to apply for the course must sit in the entrance exam, CEE (Combined Entrance Exam) and JLEE ( Joint Lateral Entry Examination) , conducted by ASTU. As per the Assam CEE eligibility criteria, candidates should have passed class 12 or equivalent exam from Assam board or any other recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects without any grace marks. Age: Candidates should not be less than 17 years. The maximum permissible age limit is 21 years.
