Internship did at ASTC. Jorhat Companies are OIL, Dabur, Godrej, ITC etc Average salary INR 6 lacs p.a. Highest salary INR 12 lacs p.a. Alumni network is good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
10 hostels are there. Hostels are satisfactory. Other options are plenty. Food is good. Good quality classrooms.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria are 12th standard pass or any equivalent examination. Entrance exam was CEE-2016 Typical cutoffs is 140/300.
Academics and Faculty
Class from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Good quality teaching. Overall experience is good.
Fees and Scholarships
Fees per year are INR 8000. NEC, UGC scholarship are available. Most of them get a scholarship. No loans needes.
Clubs and Associations
Robotics club, Art Forum, Fotokraft. Phoenix is the techno-cultural fest of the college. Life is great.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate who wants to apply for the course must sit in the entrance exam, CEE (Combined Entrance Exam) and JLEE ( Joint Lateral Entry Examination) , conducted by ASTU. As per the Assam CEE eligibility criteria, candidates should have passed class 12 or equivalent exam from Assam board or any other recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects without any grace marks. Age: Candidates should not be less than 17 years. The maximum permissible age limit is 21 years. Percentage of Marks: General category candidates must have 50% aggregate marks, where SC category candidates need to have 45% aggregate marks and ST category candidates must have 40% marks in PCM. Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility of getting admission to the B.tech is through ASSAM CEE examination held every month all over Assam. Total marks for the exam is 300, out of which usually 132 remains the cutoff for General though it varies every year. Around 108 is the cutoff usually for SCs and 65 for STs. negative marking is also there. During admission mark sheets of 10 and +2 are required along with PRC certificate.
