The students should have passed 12th with a minimum of 60% marks for admission at CU. Selection of the candidates was done through JEE MAIN score.

Academics & Faculty : As a student,I expected a great deal of effort from the faculty and the staff from day 1 of the course with me now in 7th semester I can safely say that I'm an engineer built by the teachers. The classrooms are spacious,with ACs at Chitkara University, [CU] Patiala Hostels are cleaned everyday. You meet different people. Teachers encourage you to innovate and have patents by your name. We have open gym, We have a great coffee house and we organise the greatest youth fests. People here have open mind set. Only downside being away from a city but believe me with time You'll forget about it.
Academics & Faculty : Chitkara University, the best university in Punjab is a government-recognized university with the right to confer degrees as per the Sections 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956.It has one of the best teaching faculty and adopted to all modern techniques.Profesors are also very good.Classed start at 9:00 and ends at 04:20 with lunch break from 11:45 to 12:40 we all get assignments in 1st or 2nd working days and have tests. Once in a week. And also have a great appeal to projects
