Placements and Internships
- The college offers 98-100% placements and mainly provides an average of six to eight lakh INR package. Other than the excellent coaching available here, they help students in finding and working as interns and also encourage students in participating in numerous competition.
- Noted companies which hire are Bosch, HP, Wipro, Infosys, Intel etc;
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two main hostels which are available at the campus. One is the INDIAN HOSTEL and the other is NRI HOSTEL.
- Separate hostels for girls and boys are provided. The food is good and the College provides a different menu for different days thus ensuring all types of foods are provided.
- There are numerous PGs available outside the campus within 1kms. The infrastructure at the college is very good.
- WiFi is provided to the students. The library is well equipped with lots of books and reading the material.
- It also provides a digital library for the students. It also provides study halls and lounge sections for the students.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The entrance exam for all the engineering colleges in Karnataka are mainly CET, DCET, Comed-K and the college respective entrance exam like PES college conducts its own entrance exam.
- The admissions are done based on the results obtained by each student. The college provides different fee structures for different exam based entry.
- For PU or +2 students CET is the main exam considered which roughly costs 40k after the KSEEB fee.
- The fee structure is varied when Comed-K is considered. For diploma based students DCET is the only option for entrance exam based admission. There's also management seats available for the fee is structured differently in different colleges.
- The fee also varies depending on the field you choose. In DSCE CET has 45k admission fees which are the same for DCET students. The Comed-K based entry pay 90k for admissions other than the KSEEB fees.
Academics and Faculty
- The college timings are wonderful and good for the study environment.
- Here at DSCE well trained and experienced faculty are available to guide the students to get the best results.
- A good campus is necessary for the students which is not only provided but also maintained neatly by the staff.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee per year for this academic year was 40900INR in the college and 45000INR at the KSEEB.
- Various scholarships are available and also encourage the students to apply for different scholarships as well.
Clubs and Associations
- There's a separate building for the Cultural activities of the college.
- It contains everything from poetry club to music and dance clubs.
- The college also conducts the yearly college fests and also conducts various tech fest for the students

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For the admission procedure, there are two ways: KCET (for KARNATAKA students) and COMED-K (for NON-KARNATAKA students). I opted for COMED-K entrance examination. For COMED-K, the ranking should be under 50k.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : My course is Medical Electronics, one can get to this course by writing CET(COMMON ENTRANCE TEST) or COMED-K, To get this course one must have to clear 10+2 or equivalent, during the year 2017 the cutoff was 20k. So if u get within 15k you are likely to get this course.
