Entrance Exams & Admissions : NMIMS has its entrance examination- NMIMS NPAT for UG and PG courses with a cutoff of 50% marks in the qualifying exam and should be 10+2 qualified (above 60%) with PCM as compulsory subjects from a recognized board. After getting qualified for the entrance test, counseling is scheduled where students can select preferred courses based on the NPAT ranking.

Academics & Faculty : Basically, there are two campuses for BTech and MBA, Mumbai and Shirpur campus academics is good as compared to other colleges of Mumbai University because NMIMS is a deemed to be a university.
