Entrance Exams and Admissions
IISER is a research-oriented college so don't compare it with iit's. Its selection is done on the basis of key rank, JEE ADVANCED rank, and its own entrance.This college does guarantees job but is a place to learn without much expenditure as it is funded by Maharashtra govt. of india.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : IISER's SCB Entrance exam, KVPY, JEE(adv) are the exams which could lead to a seat at IISER. My exam was scb. There are different cutoffs for different state.
