Placements and Internships
I did my intership at Bayer Material Science and Alok Masterbatches and I got stipend too. Students would find it difficult of my branch Polymer Science and Chemical Technology to get an on campus internship as rarely any company come for recruitment.
- Key companies that hire from our campus are general consultancy and startups.
- Average salary package for PSCT is INR 5-6 Lakhs.
- Alumni network is vast and well-linked via annual alumni function organised by DCE DTU Alumni Association.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 8 boys hostels and a Delhiite would find it difficult to get into one because of the unavailability of rooms and preference given to outside Delhi students.
- PGs and Apartments are easy to find near college as there are many and the cost per individual varies from 3,000 per month to 5,000 per month.
- Food is good.
- Infrastructure is really nice and new classrooms and seminar halls are under construction.
Academics and Faculty
- Daily routine starts from 9 A.M.
- Quality and method of teaching are different with each semester.
- The overall experience in college is very good. I learned a lot of things and mastered few. I joined societies based on my hobbies which helped me improve the same.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is around INR 80,000 P.A.
- There is no scholarships available general category students. The reserved category students can apply for scholarships like CBSE Scholarship.
- A loan can be easily availed from college SBI bank with lower interest rate.
Clubs and Associations
There are 13 technical fests and 1 cultural fest that college celebrates around the month of February. The college life in general is awesome especially the hostel life or PG life.

Academics & Faculty : The class timings are from 9:00 am -5 pm. The projects are provided to us by the teacher at regular intervals. There are 2 examination in each sem 1.) Mid sem 2.) End sem. Time period is alloted for the submission of the assignments. Quality of teaching and method is good. My experience in college is excellent.

Academics & Faculty : A normal day starts from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. You get to work under a faculty member as your mentor in third year and fourth year of college. Assignments are given by for internals only. Mid Sem and End Sem Examinations are there making a total of 100 marks. Quality and Method of teaching are very good. You can choose your own project title on which you would like to work on. Teachers are helpful and co operative and strict too. Overall Experience till now is good.
