College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Availing hostel is mandatory. IIM Ranchi offers the best hostel rooms. It is completely WIFI enabled.
- The mess food is reasonably good.
Academics and Faculty
- Each day at IIM Ranchi is quite hectic. There are everyday classes and weekends are usually occupied with projects and assignments.
- We have the best of the best faculty and the usual way of teaching is case based.
Fees and Scholarships
- The current fee is Rs 12 lakhs for 2 year inclusive of hostel and mess fee.
- Banks jump onto you to take their loan when you come down here for registration.

Academics & Faculty : With most of the faculty coming in from IIM Calcutta, the standards are set very high. Industry experts like Professor Sanjay Badhe create not just interest but passion for the course. The Academic Committee works very hard to keep the courses updated and bring in new ones. Last year, Sports and Entertainment marketing was introduced with half the course being taken up by an elite professor from Clayton University.

Academics & Faculty : IIM Ranchi since its inception is always trying to create its impact in industry. At IIM Ranchi we get an opportunity to interact with industry leaders of good companies through Colloquium which helps us to get to know about actual industry happenings. We have specialised internal faculty for few courses in first year and for others we get external faculty from IIM C, IIM L, MDI and also consultants working in industry as per their specialisation which gives good platform to learn.
Academics & Faculty : The quality of professors we have in IIM Ranchi is quite great. There are many visiting faculties coming from colleges like IIM Calcutta, MDI Gurgaon, NITIE Mumbai,etc. Various eminent professors like Prof. Jean Dreze, a Belgium-born Indian economist come to address the students of IIM Ranchi. This type of exposure gives an immense opportunity to the students to interact with stalwarts in various fields and learn something from them. That is one of the perks which we enjoy being a student of an IIM.
