Entrance Exams & Admissions : The entrance examination that I took for getting admission in National Institute of Technology was JEE MAIN in 2013. The eligibility criteria are just you have to be in 12th standard or 12th pass. You can attempt the examination only thrice. If you want to secure a seat in Computer science branch of my college, you need at least 200 out of 360 marks in JEE MAIN which is conducted in April every year. There are both offline and online modes of giving a test, while the offline mode is on 2nd of April this year, the online mode will be on any day in the first couple of weeks in April. After you are done with the examination, ranks will be given. And on the basis of ranks, seats will be allocated.
