Academics & Faculty : Basically, Mumbai university was more tilted towards bookish knowledge and so I cannot blame my college to be more focused on that. A few professors were good and a few not that good. The campus was very small (now the game has changed big time) so attending the classes were the only option. Many professors were straight out of the college with just the basic understanding of subjects and that's not how an ideal teacher/professor should be. Faculty did stress upon the importance of practicals, but grades were heavily dependent on the written exams and the facilities in the college were not up to the mark.
