The college arranges many festivals and other activities. Few of which I want to mention are Music council, Sports council, VESlit circle, IEEE society, ISTE, ISA, Codecell, and Developer students club.
In general, life is pretty good in our college, and you will certainly enjoy your four years of life here.
There are two hostels in our campus one is for boys, and the other is for girls. The hostel fee is around INR 8100 per month.
The quality of the food is pretty good at a reasonable price.
There is classroom assigned for every batch along with the indoor sports ground and library with more than 49,000 books.
You get access to WiFi 24/7 and labs are pretty good and well equipped with necessary instruments.
For 2021, each batch's orientation was taken online, and we have two lectures in a day each of one hour. Teaching is done online on Google meet. And many qualified teachers are available to teach us, so the quality of teaching is pretty good.

The fee for my course is quite reasonable compared to other engineering colleges of Mumbai. This fee also becomes 50% for EBC students, and the fee for SC and ST students is around INR 32,000 only.
Many scholarships are available for families having a low annual income, which can be availed by submitting necessary documents and every year, many students claim scholarships.
As I am a student of a technical subject, I know about the IT companies which visit our campus for the recruitment like Accenture Reliance TCS Capgemini and many more. Other companies like MC Donald's Emerson and TCE also visit the campus.
The great thing about the college is that it is known for 100% placements. The highest salary offered was INR 14 LPA, and the average salary ranges from INR 4- 5 LPA, while the lowest salary offered was 2 LPA.
Coming to the alumni, many students from many branches reached a respectable position, especially the students of electronics and communication engineering. Some of the notable Alumni from the institute are Hari Krishnan (Country Manager, India), Tanuj Kamath ( Corporate Marketing Expert at Larsen and Toubro).
For admission in this college student must take Mht CET or JEE entrance examinations.
I gave both the examinations along with JEE Advanced. The eligiblity for course is above 96 percentile in Mht CET exam and above 95 percentile in JEE main for general category.

Vesit provides summer internship to students. Companies like Accenture, TCS , Reliance, Jacob's, Emersion hire students from campus placements. Average salary figure is about 7 to 8 lakhs per year, highest salary is about 16 lakhs, and about 85 % of batch gets placed .
The undergraduate courses are Bachelor of Engineering (BE) The eligible candidates will have to appear in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) for admission in BE program. Admission in the B.E. Lateral program is done on the basis of marks scored in Diploma in relevant discipline. The cut off for instrumentation engineering in vesit is about 100 to 110 out off 200 in MHT CET.

There is hostel facility for students staying 80km min away from college, for 2 years. The campus was very good and huge. The canteen was reasonable and classrooms were very airy.
The faculty was not up to the mark except the hods and few teachers. The students have to write many assignments and the teachers don't bother what they have written.
The fee was different for different years. The average fees of one year were INR 1.10 lakhs and scholarship was provided by Tata to poor but sharp-minded students. The average Number of students getting the scholarship was nearly 20+ to 30. There is no loan facility.
The placement is majorly handled by IT Giants like Accenture, Capgemini, and atos. They offer INR 3.5 lacs package while other companies like JP Morgan provide INR 6.5 lacs package.
The college is in Chembur. The eligibility criteria were 120 plus score in CET exam for computer branch. 110 for IT and 80 plus for other branches. The infrastructure is very huge with big campus and labs. The faculty was not very professional except hods and placement was 80 percentage.
Eligibility criteria were mathematics in 11th and 12th and MCA CET marks. MCA CET was the entrance exam. Typical cutoffs range from 98 percentile to 77 percentile.
There are many student bodies/ societies in the college, which includes music, drama, social responsibility, photography, visual arts and other cultural societies. There are two main cultural feativals (ustav and illusions), one main sports festival (sphurthi), two music festivals (bliss and octaves) and also the main tech fest (praxis).
There are two student hostels (for girls and boys) both within the main campus. The quality of the labs are top of the line. There is WiFi connectivity throughout the campus. The college has a huge library with an extensive collection of books. The meals from the college canteen are very affordable and the food is upto the mark.
Class timings are from 10:30-5 for first year and final year students For second and third year students the timings are from 8:30-2:45 The college has many highly qualified professors, and has an overall good teaching experience. There are regular assignments, and each semester consists of two internal assessment tests. Students are encouraged to take up projects outside the syllabus.
The fees per year is around 1.2 lakhs (general category) 60k (OBCs) 12k (SC/ST) There are several scholarship options available to students for each semester. Around 10-12% of students do get scholarships. Students whose household income falls under the low income group category, can also avail subsidised fees.
Companies like Accenture, Cape Gemini, L&T, KPMG, Noumura, JPMC etc are some of the companies that hire regularly. The college has good campus placements with core companies even for branches like Instrumentation Engineering. Around 97% of the eligible students do get placed. The average salaries vary around INR4-INR5 lpa. The highest salary last year was INR16 lpa
I took the JEE mains exam and had a score of 106, generally admissions are given to people with scores in the range 80-110 depending on the difficulty of that years exam.
Now let me discuss regarding the fee structure in my college.For my branch, the fee for open category is 1.04 lakhs.The system of caste is also supported here.My college is Sindhi quota which percentage of 51%. Various scholarships are provided by the college coming under different head which includes Ebc scholarship caste vice scholarship and many more scholarship depending upon the pointer.The average rate of getting the scholarship in my college including all conditions is 40%.There are different banks which provided educational loans out of which SBI is my preference.Sbi provided the loan with interest of 10% which is good from a perspective of a middle-class family.
For now, I do not have any internship but surely I would be having in the upcoming year. Now let me talk about the key companies coming here.infosys, capgemini, Accenture,l&T, Bharat Airtel, reliance telecommunication and many more.This is the key companies which provide a good placement.I forgot to mention about JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley they are the one of the best according to me.The average salary for CS and IT is 7lakhs for ETRX and EXTC it's 5 to 6 for instrumentation it's 4 to 5.The alumni which I would like to mention is Vikraman Singh.He is working now on Facebook at a very good post.They also provide an major support to the college by conducting various seminars and courses out of which one was AI and machine learning.
My college Vivekanand education society institute of technology was built in memory of the great legend swami vivekanand.College is one of it's kind.The teaching faculty in college is extremely good vivekanand society is actually quite big which consists of schools, colleges for engineering, pharmacy, management, colleges for 11 and 12 .I am studying engineering in electronics branch.The way to enter this college is via your CET or jee marks but the majority is your CET marks.Now I am studying in the first year of electronics engineering and the cut off for 2017-18 in the cap was 106 out off 200.My branch has extremely good faculty and the placements are also quite good.Lasy year the electronics engineering highest placement went up to 16 lakhs which were offered by Microsoft.Along with teaching life, the enjoying life is also very good.I am proud to be a Venetian.
You can get admission through MAH CET. Typically cutoff range from 150 to 50 for various courses. It is Sindhi minority so Sindhi's have lower cutoff

There is hostel facility and also the cafeteria facility the classrooms are labs are good.
Timing is from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and the attendance is compulsory. All the teachers are good and studies are good.
The per year course fees is INR 1 lakh to INR 1.25 lakh. You can get some scholarship and other fees.
The average salaries offered is INR 3 lakh and the companies come are LnT, Accenture, Capgemini for placements.
You must score 60% in 12th science and 120 in MHT CET entrance exam.
