1)Internships are a compulsory part of the Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce as it is believed that internships facilitate the integration of theoretical learning with its application and practice in the workplace. 2) SJCC, Our college has the best placement cell as we have the best and top companies coming to our college for recruitment. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and many more companies. 3)The average packages are 5 LPA to 6 LPA. The highest compensation offered this year has been Rs. 10,00,000 approximately by Lowe’s India. 4) The Alumni Association of the College was established as the ‘Old Students Association’ (OSA). It was assigned the role of facilitating communication between the present students.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

Don't know much about hostels and accommodation. The classrooms are spacious and led lights, fans, and benches and there's led display and a board to write are provided in each class. Libraries provide all the information related to all the fields of information. Canteen is located inside college where you get all kinds of food like rice, wraps, rolls, roti curry, soft drinks, juices and many more. The infrastructure of the college is so bright. We have basket ball court, backside ground and department blocks proportionately. It's colorful and beautiful.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

St Joseph's College of Commerce is one of the best and top autonomous colleges in Bengaluru. To pursue education in this college the eligibility criteria is he/she should have studied 10+2 years of education in ICSE/CBSE/State Board syllabus. There will be mandatory entrance exam paper for 50 marks consisting of 50 multiple choice questions. But, when I was getting admission it was a COVID time and we didn't have any entrance exam for admissions. The college generally takes the entrance exam outcome, but during COVID time the cutoff percentage was 91% and above.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

1)There are 2 shifts for the undergraduate courses where shift 1 starts at 7am-11am for the students who are pursuing professional courses like CA, CS, etc. Second shift starts at 12pm-4pm. 2)St Joseph’s College of Commerce prides itself on having highly proficient teaching faculty who strive relentlessly towards upholding the values and beliefs of the institution. 3) Studying in St Joseph's College is a phase where every student is lucky to study in this college. There's fun, education and opportunities for everything sorted accordingly. Every day is a new different way of excitement here, I'm really glad I got into this college.

Fees and Scholarships

4

1)The annual fees paid for the year for our batch was Rs.70,000 but may vary some 2-5k now. 2) There are scholarships for B.Com/BBA/M.Com students who are economically weak, especially from the rural areas. Such students are eligible to apply provided he/she furnishes enough evidence for his/her eligibility, enclosing a community/income certificate. A good academic record (passed in all subjects with 60% and above, attendance 75% and above) is also required. 3)50% of the students get the scholarship every year. 4)No I guess, studying in our college doesn't require any loans because they provide scholarships and all kind of intiatives to almost reduce the cost of fee for the students who require.

Clubs and Associations

5

There are many associations in our college in academics, women empowerment, entrepreneur cell, Rotaract, nss and many more. Students can get any association they're passionate about. St Joseph's college of commerce stays at the top in conducting fests. All kind of fests are done and there will be departmental fests. Main fest is dhwani, kalostav, spiel for sports and more. Our college fashion team stays in number one place. College life is beautiful here as we get all kinds of entertainment with education in this college. We get enormous opportunities regarding every thing in college. You get to feel each and everything in all fields. College life is said to be the golden life, where this college fulfills that quote!
